Book
Manuscript in preparation. The book examines the role of the clergy in Irish subject formation during the Irish Revival. My exploration of priestly self-fashioning in the literature of the period, but particularly in works written by the clergy themselves, offers original perspectives on the development of Irish nationalism and on Irish masculinity in the first decades of the twentieth century.
